Chantelle Aimée Osman is a literary consultant with 22 Literary and former Editor-in-Chief of RT Book Reviews. A freelance editor specializing in mystery/suspense/thriller, science-fiction and fantasy, she is also an instructor with the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. Chantelle is the author of the non-fiction series on writing The Quick and Dirty Guide To… and has also published numerous flash fiction and short stories. She is currently editing an episodic anthology, Serial Killer, featuring authors Jeffery Deaver and Eoin Colfer for Polis Books to be released Summer 2017.

50 Editing Mistakes Authors Make
A professional editor covers the best methods for approaching editing your own work. Chantelle will review the top mistakes that editors find and correct in author’s manuscripts, from grammar to dialogue, giving you the edge of a polished final product. Bring a 1-5 page-writing sample and if time permits, we will do some live-editing.
