Technology requirements for faculty: A computer with a stable and fast internet connection, and a microphone on the computer (either built-in or external.) Webcam is optional. Yes, that’s it! If you’re not familiar with our webinar platform, don’t worry. We will conduct dry runs with you to familiarize you with the technology. You are welcome to use Powerpoint slides to share your content. If you have any questions about the technology, please reach out to us with your. We do not want the technology to be a hindrance to you and will do everything we can to help you work comfortably with it.
Please note that in line with FWA’s current policies, FWA does not compensate faculty for the webinar, but we are pleased to extend to you three complimentary guest registrations to use as you choose. You can offer them to your friends or use them at another FWA webinar. If your proposed webinar is scheduled, our coordinator will work with you to get those complimentary webinar registrations to you or your guests.
