The Florida Writer is the official magazine of the Florida Writers Association. Published six times a year, it includes articles by writing, publishing, and marketing professionals, as well as news about FWA events and programs. We also feature the creative writing of our members and news of their writing-related accomplishments in the magazine. Royal Palm Literary Awards

The Royal Palm Literary Awards (RPLA) is a prestigious writing competition that recognizes extraordinary writing in more than forty genre categories. RPLA is unusual among writing competitions because it not only recognizes winning entries but also provides objective and constructive written assessments for all submissions.
